Shame on me! I waited till now to write a post about my favorite coffee spots in Frankfurt. I have called Frankfurt a home for 3 years and I must say I got to know him pretty good, so if you need some infos (especially when it comes to hotspots, lol) about Mainhattan, feel free to contact me!
Let’s start with Bunca, because it’s my all time favorite coffee place in the world. Okay it’s clear that they have super delicious coffee with the prettiest latte art, yummy cakes and nice interior but they also have that factor x. Under factor x I mean they are super lovely and kind and they care about their guests. You know that moment when you walk in and you don’t need to say anything because they now what kind of coffee you drink and they ask you how are you. I’m not even a regular guest anymore but they didn’t forget me. Every time I visit Frankfurt first thing I do, I go to Bunca . <3
Hoppenworth & Ploch
Hopplo, how the Frankfurters love to call them is one of the first places that started with third wave of coffee in Frankfurt. And a lot of Frankfurt coffee lovers are greatful for that. On the entrance you will already smell the coffee in the air, as they are roasting it directly in their coffee place, mmm. Pair your coffee with their waffles, match maid in heaven.
The Holy Cross Brewing Society
Such a pretty interior at Holy, I love it! 100% instagram friendly, lol. At this family vibes coffee place where you will always get your craved coffee, you can also get a breakfast or brunch which is always served so pretty! And I don’t even need to mention how they have a daily offer of a few delish sort of cakes.
This super small coffee place, which was originally at first a kiosk is definitely a different kind of a coffee place. Maybe you will not get a latte art but yummy coffee and the best almond croissant are guaranteed . Feinfrankfurt looks like you went trough Narnia Closet and ended up in some other world.
Good times for good people
People usually go here for a beer, cocktails and night out, but not me. I go to this place with two names (another name is Bar ohne Namen, which means Bar without a name) for a coffee. Okay I also go sometimes for a drink, Gin&Tonic, especially during summer, but we will talk about that some other time. So coffee, yes, and cakes too, I love the marzipan/pear one (I hope they have it still), will need to check it when next time in Frankfurt.
I’m sure you will hear more stories about Frankfurt from me, so stay tuned and in the meantime check out these five of my favorite coffee spots in Frankfurt. For some more hotspotting click on #discoverfrankfurtwithlea.
